Clarence W. Jackson Jr., a U.S. Air Force
veteran, who currently serves as the 3rd Junior
Vice Commander for the Disabled American
Veterans Department of New Jersey was
honored with two awards at the 98th Annual
Thurgood Marshall Freedom Fund Dinner for
the Montclair Branch of the NAACP. The
Freedom Fund Dinner was held on Friday
October 31, 2014 at the Mayfair Farms in West
Orange, NJ. Clarence who is also the
Commander of Disabled American Veterans
Chapter 3, Newark, NJ was presented with the
Montclair Branch's Tuskegee Airman Award for
outstanding service and leadership and was
also surprisingly presented with the NJ State
Conference of NAACP Branches' Soldier of
Valor Award for outstanding service to the New
Jersey veteran's community.
