National Night Out is Tuesday, August 1st from 6-8:30 p.m. at the Cherry Hill Municipal Complex. Come spend time with us and our community for a night of FREE family fun. Make sure your children, grade 12 and under get a raffle ticket for a chance to win a bike, helmet and other great bike safety gadgets! There will be 5 total stops & we will have a Save A Warrior member at each stop to meet & greet the riders post to post. The BBQ will be at our destination American Legion Post 170, 33 W Passaic Street, Rochelle Park, NJ from 12:00pm to 6:00pm walk ins welcomed. Walk ins $10.00 We will have at least 4 Live bands, DJ, 5 Vendors & more. We will have 50/50 & more. We will also be showing the movie Project 22 & clips of Save A Warrior. Project Blue Light Memorial Ride to Stop Police Suicide - bikes, motorcycles, cars:
10:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

Ride will form at Philadelphia Police Academy, 8501 State Rd, Philadelphia at 1 p.m.. The route will continue through Philadelphia and loop to the Living Flame Memorial, Franklin Square Park (corner of North Sixth and Race Streets) and back to the Philadelphia Academy. Wear blue to honor the Blue Light Project. All bikes, motorcycles, car clubs are welcome. FREE. Deadline date to purchase T-shirts is June 30th - they will not be available on the day of ride. The Project Blue Light Memorial Ride T-shirt sale is our only income and the money raised, along with generous sponsors and the support of the Philadelphia Police Department allows us to host the ride and at least provide some refreshments at the event. Any additional funds raised will further our efforts to honor the fallen and support those left behind. The Project Blue Light Memorial Ride - We Ride to Stop Police Suicide. The Ride was started by the brother of a Philadelphia Police Officer who died by suicide in Dec 2010.

A Night at the Races - Benefit for Semper Fido:

USS New Jersey Masonic Lodge No. 62 is holding a fundraiser on August 19 that will benefit Semper Fido. The Semper Fido organization saves shelter dogs and trains them to be service companions for veterans with PTSD and Traumatic Brain Injuries. It takes 6-9 months and costs around $30,000 just to train, board, and prepare 1 dog to be paired with a veteran! So, USS New Jersey Lodge is trying to help out as a way to thank veterans that sacrificed so much for our country. The Night at the Races event will be a fun-filled evening with video horse races, raffles, dinner, and a 50/50 drawing. While dinner is included, it is a BYOB event. This extensive military living history display and show will be held at Fort Mott, a historic Coastal Artillery Fort, which has a Finns Point Military Graveyard just beyond its walls. This event will again feature hundreds of military re-enactors, historic vehicles, live music and guest speakers such as veterans from WWII, Korea and Vietnam as well as several local authors. Each year, Fort Mott exceeds their previous records for attendance with visitors coming from the Southern New Jersey, Philadelphia and beyond. Each year we hope to expand upon that success by bringing in new exhibitors and new features. This event has been featured on Comcast and the WFN network. Also of interest, Historic Soldiers Weekend (HSW) was honored with a New Jersey State Senate Resolution for be a valuable event in preserving our Military History. Annual Charity Biker Rodeo – Knights of Inferno MC:

The Knights of the Inferno Motorcycle Club: Shore Syndicate Chapter will be hosting their annual Biker Rodeo Charity Fundraiser on Saturday, September 30th starting at noon. This event will be held rain or shine and will be held at the Bamber Lakes VFW Post 10118, 2652 Lacey Road in Forked River. This years charity fund raiser beneficiaries will be POAC Autism Services NJ and Fighting H.A.R.D. (Having A Rare Disease) Foundation. There will be a live band, good food, cold beer, vendors and a variety of friendly but competitive rodeo games. The cost is $20 per person. Come join us for the day starting at 12:00pm so we can help those in need. Last year The Knights of the Inferno MC raised over $1000 for each organization that was supported. Some of the rodeo games will include: Beer Barrel Roll - Participants will try to push a beer keg down the course with their motorcycle faster than the other participants. Cue Stick Joust - Consists of bikers using pool sticks to collect as many rings as possible in the shortest amount of time. Weenie Bite - Passengers will attempt to bite off as much of the hot dog as possible using only their mouth. The team that bites off the most weenie is the winner. Slow Race - Rider will proceed down the course as slow as they can while not touching the ground with their feet. The biker with the longest time wins. Traffic Cone Tennis - Passengers place balls on tennis cones and then retrieve them down the other side of the course. Team with the most balls and best time wins.
